I try to capture the light and shadows as they move quickly. Minutes become seconds and hours feel like minutes. All of a sudden the time passes and its time to go. When I get home I lean my canvas against my studio garage door. I have a cup of coffee and reflect on what I saw and have painted that morning. My paintings are moments passing in time like little snap shots of life. That’s what I love about painting. Ed Horvath
