This made my year. A fellow student
modeled in full Japanese dress of the
Imperial Court. Her job was to read

Red Mums 2010

Had fun painting this in the studio
last night. Lots of cadmium reds in 

the flowers.

The Princess 2010

Last week we had a great model. She
was in traditional ballet dress. Everyone
was having a great night with this subject.

Halloween 2010

The temperature was around 38° in the morning.
I painted along a stream where I noticed a burning
bush near the edge of the water. It kind of reminded
me of a spring scene because of the light pink colors
in the leaves of the bush. A black ferret was running
along the rocks. That made my day!

Fall 2010

It felt good to get outside to paint again. The
leaves are changing slowly this year. We painted
a Maple tree with interesting light effects.

Art in the Park 2010 Show

End of Summer 2010

Over the July and August months I spent a lot
of time down the Jersey Shore. The surf was
ruff this year with the many storms off the coast.
I was inspired by the determination of the
surf bums. Looking for the perfect ride.
