It looked like rain in the morning that day
around 6:00 am. Almost went back to sleep
but got dressed and made it up to Skylands.
There was a mist rolling over the mountains
but it never rained. The conditions were really
interesting....Enjoy! Ed

Sunday, May 16th painting end of Spring 2010

Got up to Skylands park this Sunday. I was the
first one there that morning. We decided to take
a hike over to the wild rhododendron's. Some of
us went down to the swamp to paint the primroses
in bloom.....Enjoy! ED

April 26th, 2010

We managed to get good sketches done in the
morning before we got rained on. Still enjoyed
the conditions of the day "lots of greens".

Sunday, April 18 th Weeping Crab Apple

Got up late on Sunday. Rushed to get my paints
got to the park a little later. Saw the weeping crab apple
out in the distance. The temperature was about 42˚ and
sunny. A few pedals from one of the blooming trees blew
down and stuck to my canvas. The value matched perfectly.
A little assurance from mother nature....Enjoy!!! ED

Spring, Sunday 11, 2010

Finally got out to Skyland on Sunday. Everyone
came out to paint that day. I painted the crab apple
grove. They must of just bloomed. I missed out on the
cherry blooms this year because everything bloomed
early....Enjoy!!! ED
