End of Summer 2010

Over the July and August months I spent a lot
of time down the Jersey Shore. The surf was
ruff this year with the many storms off the coast.
I was inspired by the determination of the
surf bums. Looking for the perfect ride.

The Red Shoes 2010

My mother had saved these shoes down in the
basement.They used to be my shoes from back
in the 70's. I thought they would make an
interesting painting, since they had a lot of stories
they could tell ... Enjoy! ED

Wednesday 6_16_10 The Practice 2010

Its nice to get a good subject to
paint every once in a while. I really
wanted to get as much done as possible
that night at the studio. I used a 11x14
linen canvas. Lots of fun ... Enjoy! ED

It looked like rain in the morning that day
around 6:00 am. Almost went back to sleep
but got dressed and made it up to Skylands.
There was a mist rolling over the mountains
but it never rained. The conditions were really
interesting....Enjoy! Ed
